1 – 3 pm
Characters, plot, imagery, suspense, and conflict are just some of the elements of creative writing. This supportive yet challenging workshop, a continuation of the popular Elements of Creative Writing seminar, is open to writers at all levels, whether or not they have taken the previous course. Assignments and lively class discussions of student work will give participants the chance to explore the elements, to see them in action in the work of others, and to get feedback on their own work.
Brooke Bergan has taught creative writing for twenty years, has published critically acclaimed poetry, fiction, essays, translations, and a play; and is currently working on a novel.
Eight sessions, $190.
