Conversations at the Newberry

This inaugural installment of “Conversations at the Newberry” features pre-eminent National Book Award winner and University of Chicago professor Martin Marty and the Rev. Dr. John Buchanan, pastor of Chicago’s historic Fourth Presbyterian Church. Marty and Buchanan will discuss Marty’s newest book, Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Letters and Papers from Prison: A Biography, and progress into an exploration of the role of religion and religious activism in an increasingly secular world.

“Conversations at the Newberry” is generously sponsored by Sue and Melvin Gray.
