This seminar is designed for anyone who has ever wanted to write and publish a mystery novel. We will consider how to write and market a mystery, focusing on plot and audience requirements unique to the genre. We will also cover strategies for handling the publishing world.
Michael Raleigh is the author of five mysteries set in Chicago and featuring detective Paul Whelan, as well as two other novels. He is Professor Emeritus of the City Colleges and currently teaches in the first year writing and honors programs at DePaul University.
