Afro-American Genealogy and Historical Society 2016 Conference

The Afro-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Chicago is having its 34th Annual Family History Conference. The theme is “Back to Basics: Effective Search Techniques” and the conference will be held Friday, October 7th and Saturday October 8th. Friday’s programs begin at 12 noon and Saturday’s program runs from 8 am to 5 pm. The conference is being held at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints, 5200 S. University Ave., Chicago, IL.
