You’ve just discovered that an ancestor was adopted. What do you do now? Researching adoption records is very challenging. Matt Rutherford, curator of genealogy and local history at the Newberry Library, will discuss the history of adoption records, policies and research in the United States.

I have two adopted siblings, and would like to get information on the health records of their original birth parents. Obviously, I missed this presentation at the Arlington Heights Library. Is there any chance that the proceedings or minutes of the meeting could be sent by email? Thanks DRD
