Newberry Library Book Groups

The mission of the Newberry Library includes the encouragement of life-long learning and intellectual pursuits. In line with this purpose, the Library offers donors (Associates) to the Annual Fund the opportunity to join a book discussion group as a benefit for their support. Those who contribute at the Author level ($100) or higher are eligible to participate. Groups meet on the third Thursday of each month at the Newberry Library. You do not need to attend all meetings in order to be part of a Book Group.

Currently, openings are available in the evening Book Group. The group has an exciting list of books to discover, digest, and discuss. In addition, we have a waiting list for those interested in starting a new group to meet in the morning or afternoon. All books are available for purchase at the A.C. McClurg Newberry Library Bookstore for 10% off the list price.
