After the oriention, stay and start your research in the General Reading Rooms where the reference staff will be available to assist you.
After the Reading Rooms close at 1pm, grab a quick lunch and then join the Chicago Genealogical Society for the final lecture of the season, National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers 1866-1938 by Jeanne Larzalere Bloom. The meeting starts at 1:30pm in Towners Lounge, here at the Newberry.
