Adapted and directed by Artistic Director Jeff Christian
Returning for their fourth season of free performances, The Shakespeare Project of Chicago presents its original two-actor adaptation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece. The cornerstone of its educational outreach program, 50 Minute Hamlet maintains the passion and poetry of the classic text, while condensing the story into a 50-minute cohesive whole. An excellent introduction to Shakespeare for students sixth grade and up—and a wonderful theatrical experience for those already familiar with the Bard’s genius.Note: Normally in Ruggles Hall, this performance will take place outdoors on the Walton Street steps.

Directed by Founding Member Stephen Spencer
Continuing their presentation of the saga of the profligate prince who matures into a warrior king, The Shakespeare Project of Chicago brings you King Henry V. Nathan M. Hosner (right), who commanded the stage as Prince Hal in last season’s Henry IV, is slated to return as an older version of the repentant gadabout.
Admission is free. No reservations are required.
