Tijana Krstic, Penn State University 

Tijana Krstic is an assistant professor of history at Penn State University.  She specializes in early modern Ottoman and Mediterranean cultural and religious history.   Her forthcoming book, Contesting Conversion in the Ottoman Empire, focuses on Muslim and Christian narratives of conversion to Islam in the context of both Ottoman domestic politics and Ottoman imperial rivalry with the Habsburgs and Safavids.
