The Center for Renaissance Studies

Graduate Student Conference Proceedings

Multidisciplinary in scope, the Center for Renaissance Studies' annual graduate student conference presents recent scholarship in all disciplines of medieval, Renaissance, or early modern studies. The conference is organized and run by graduate students, providing participants an opportunity to present their work in a collegial scholarly forum, meet future colleagues from other institutions and disciplines, and become familiar with the Newberry Library and its resources. Selected papers are peer- (though not blind-) reviewed and peer-edited for inclusion in our online conference proceedings publication.

2009 Conference Proceedings, Education: Forming and Deforming the Premodern Mind

2008 Conference Proceedings, Mapping the Premodern
