There is no public parking at the Newberry Library. Do not park in the Newberry Library's parking lot, which requires all cars in the lot to display a permit at all times. Cars without permits will be towed. Limited metered parking is available on area streets. Daytime and evening parking restrictions do apply, so be sure to read the posted signs carefully. Garage parking is also available in the neighborhood.
The following garages offer discounted parking to Newberry patrons ($7 for 0-8 hours; $9 for 8-10 hours). Remember to bring your parking ticket with you so it can be validated by the Newberry security guard.
