Visit the Newberry's Table at the DuPage County Genealogical Society's Annual Conference

The DuPage County (IL) Genealogical Society’s 38th Annual Conference will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013. This year the theme is “Discovering America’s Early Roots.”

Speakers for this full-day event include Jeanne Larzalere Bloom, CGSM, Lloyd deWitt Bockstruck, Billie Stone Fogarty, and Jennifer Holik. They’ll cover a variety of topics from “Proving Indian Ancestry – Grandma said we were Indian so how do I prove it?” to “Internet Techniques For Locating Lost Relatives.”

In addition to the presentations, there will be an exhibition space with Vendors representives from other local societies and libraries.

Be sure to stop by and say “hello” to Grace Dumelle who will be there representing the Newberry and selling copies of her book, Finding your Chicago Ancestors.
