Learn how to research your immigrant ancestor’s German origin. This seminar guides you through the process of using reliable genealogical sources for investigating German immigrant history. In addition to learning how to discover your relative’s town of origin, you’ll trace their history across the former German Empire. Learn how to use alternate sources to reveal details about your ancestor’s life beyond birth and death dates.

Teresa Steinkamp McMillin, CGSM, is author of the Guide to Hanover Military Records, 1514-1866 and specializes in German genealogical research. She regularly speaks for genealogical societies and conferences.
