Class Description

In this class, you will study basic phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary. You'll also be introduced to selected aspects of Polish culture, listen to songs and short poems, and view Polish art. 

Additionally, you'll learn to greet and introduce yourself in Polish, talk about daily activities, and describe yourself, your friends and pets, and basic objects.

Dr. Anna Zofia Gasienica Byrcyn is a literary translator and a lecturer. She teaches Polish language, literature, and culture at Saint Xavier University.
