The Behind-the-Scenes Speaker Series is a virtual program series exclusively for supporters of the Newberry. These short talks are designed to introduce you to our staff, keep you updated on the latest from the library, and provide you with a behind-the-scenes view of upcoming programs and projects.
On March 3, 2021, Newberry supporters from around the world joined Will Hansen, Director of Reader Services and Curator of Americana, to learn about the library's upcoming exhibition ¡Viva la Libertad!: The Age of Revolutions in Latin America (April 2 – July 24). Hansen discussed the historical significance of the exhibition's namesake, highlighted collection items that the exhibition will feature, and answered questions live.

We look forward to sharing more content in the months ahead. Keep an eye on your email for invitations to future installments.
