Join us for the Behind-the-Scenes Speaker Series, a virtual program series exclusively for supporters of the Newberry. These short talks are designed to introduce you to our staff, keep you updated on the latest from the library, and provide you with a behind-the-scenes view of upcoming programs and projects.
Laura McEnaney joined the staff of the Newberry in August 2021 as the Vice President for Research and Academic Programs. In this role, she directs the Newberry's four research centers, fellowships, programs for scholars, public programs, adult education classes, and teacher programs. We invite you to meet Laura at this virtual event, where she will share her background, what she's learned thus far at the Newberry, and her ideas for the future.
This talk will leave ample time for questions from the audience, allowing you to drive the conversation. We hope you'll come with questions about the many areas of the library that Laura oversees.
Invitation to the Behind-the-Scenes Speaker Series is a perk of membership in the Newberry Associates, President’s Fellows, or Next Chapter. To learn more, visit Annual Support and Membership or contact Vince Firpo, Director of Individual Giving, at firpov@newberry.org.
