Seminar Description
Curb your dependence on Ancestry.com’s shaky leaf hints by taking your genealogical project to the next level! This single-session class will focus on three areas: how to make Ancestry work for you; how to use other important genealogical databases and repositories; and how to employ new strategies to achieve research independence.

Marsha Peterson-Maass is a nationally recognized speaker and the author of the Fundamentals of Genealogy® textbook series. She has led numerous genealogy seminars at the Newberry Library since 2002.
