In June, the University of Chicago Press published the latest volume of the long-running series of books based on the Kenneth Nebernzahl, Jr., Lectures in the History of Cartography. Volume and series editor Jim Akerman will discuss book and its themes, putting them in the context the general evolution of the Lectures, which celebrated its fiftieth anniversary last October.
