Seminar Description

A new addition to the “Most Helpful” series, Part 5 will cover more methods and resources like the Newberry Library’s online resources, 3 solutions to research obstacles, crowd sourcing genealogy research, and customized storage suggestions. We will also work with specific programs and tools, including FamilySearch Memories, Fundamentals of Genealogy®’s charts and forms, Google’s research tools, U.S. Federal Census tools, military research tools, and more. (Parts 1-4 are not prerequisites for this class.) One session.

Marsha Peterson-Maass is a forensic genealogist and member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. She has led genealogy seminars at the Newberry Library since 2002.
