This workshop introduces newcomers to today’s Children’s Book World and offers Rules of the Road and proven Short Cuts to make navigating doable and easier. Participants can share a work-in-progress in order to see its possibilities in today’s publishing world

Newberry Adult Education Seminars will meet both virtually and in the building for the Winter/Spring term. Although we are still primarily virtual, you will find a smaller selection of in-person seminars in the schedule. Esther Hershenhorn authors picture books and middle grade fiction, coaches children’s books writers and recently served on the Board of Advisors of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
