Following the Emblems and Empire symposium on September 27-28, this half-day workshop will provide students with the opportunity to examine emblem books from the Newberry's collection in relation to their own research. The workshop will also explore the relationships between emblems and digital humanities through interaction with the Emblematica Online database and consider how emblems may be incorporated into other digital projects.
