Seminar Description

This workshop will focus on how to create and write a children’s picture book that connects with today’s young readers as well as our ever-changing marketplace. Participants will be able to share and discuss their own manuscripts in order to highlight the variety of picture books, as well as the different structures, crafts, writing processes, and publishing opportunities. Writers of all levels will find a supportive, challenging, and encouraging environment.

Esther Hershenhorn has authored award-winning picture books and middle-grade fiction, coached children’s book writers, and recently served on the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators’ Board of Advisors.
