The Newberry Library catalog is the primary resource for locating and requesting our collection materials. It includes about 950,000 records in various formats, book, cartographic, graphic, manuscripts, journals, music, DVDs, CDs, artifacts, and ebooks.
Please join Jessica Grzegorski, Principal Cataloging Librarian, Megan Kelly, Cataloging Projects Manager, and Alan Leopold, Director of Collection Services, for a discussion about cataloging and the two current interfaces for the catalog and a preview of a new interface to be implemented sometime in the future. They will also demonstrate how records function in the catalog and answer questions from the audience.
