Welcome Reception for Graduate Students for the RSA

The Center for Renaissance Studies at the Newberry Library cordially invites graduate students attending the Renaissance Society of America's annual conference to a wine and beer reception on Wednesday, March 29th, 5:30-7:30 pm. Snacks will be provided.

Short presentations will begin at 6pm by Lia Markey, Director of the Center for Renaissance Studies, and Christopher Fletcher, Newberry Mellon Major Fellows Project.

Where: Ruggles Hall, Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton, Chicago

Shuttle:

On Wednesday, March 29th the Smart Museum of Art and Special Collections Libraries at the University of Chicago invite arriving RSA attendees to see the on-campus exhibits, "Classicisms" at the Smart Museum, and "Tensions in Renaissance Cities" in the Special Collections Exhibit Space. There will be a shuttle from the exhibit spaces at the campus to downtown Chicago in time to attend the Newberry reception.
