The game casts players as immigrants to the United States, hopping across the map to learn about their new country and encountering surprises, pitfalls, and wildlife along the way. The accompanying pamphlet gives descriptions of each stop, including discussions of features of American society at the time, such as slavery and revival meetings, as well as the nation’s governmental structure and geographical characteristics.
