This workshop will provide writers the opportunity to continue to learn and hone their craft via the workshopping of shared manuscripts. Poetry comes in many forms, with different numbers of lines, rhyme schemes, and lengths of verses, and so forth. In this class we will read, discuss, and practice some of the better known forms, including sonnets, odes, and villanelles.
