Genealogy Toolbox 1: FamilySearch.org Primer

Take a tour of the underutilized FamilySearch.org website to see what is has to offer genealogy researchers. This course will include a review of this free resource and all the research opportunities it offers, along with other tools useful for genealogists and family historians.

For the Fall 2021 term, we're offering a mix of virtual and in-person classes. Although we are still primarily virtual, you will find a smaller selection of in-person seminars in the schedule. Registration will take place through our online platform, Learning Stream.

Caron Primas Brennan is a frequent speaker on genealogy at local libraries and genealogical societies. She has taught at the Newberry since 2009 and is a member of the Genealogical Speakers Guild and the Association of Professional Genealogists.
