Luckily, the library is home to a top-notch conservation department that oversees how the Newberry’s collection is handled, stored, conserved, displayed, and repaired. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the public can engage with items in the reading rooms, view materials in our exhibition galleries, or search our digital archives.
