Class Description

Explore the fashion and dress of Regency Britain from 1790-1820. Come consider what Elizabeth Bennet would have worn and analyze the historical accuracy of the costumes in Bridgerton.

A cultural historian and lecturer, Emilie M. Brinkman holds a PhD in European history from Purdue University. She specializes in the history of British politics, queenship, and fashion.

1 Session, $100 ($90 for Newberry members, seniors, and students). Learn about becoming a member.
