Description
Join Brandon Stokes and Karen Christianson for an inside look at Beyond Belief: Religion and Social Change in 1960s Chicago. Now in its second year, the initiative brings together public programs, oral histories, community archival training, new acquisitions, digital resources, and scholarly conversations to explore the many ways religion has shaped—and been shaped by—social change in mid-century Chicago. Brandon and Karen will share what the project has accomplished so far, what they are learning from communities and oral history participants, and what is coming next.
