Member Registration

Newberry Associates members at the Literati level ($250 or above) are invited to register for classes before registration opens to the public. To learn more about membership and giving to the Newberry’s Annual Fund, please contact Vince Firpo, Director of Individual Giving, at (312) 255-3599 or

We are pleased to offer a 10-percent discount to seniors over the age of 65, or Newberry Associates at the Author level ($100 or above), or students with a valid copy of their student ID. This discount is applied to the appropriate tuition price (either early or regular, depending on the registration date). Only one discount can be applied per registration.

Seven registrants are needed to run a class, and classes that do not meet this threshold by the early registration deadline will be canceled. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified, and your tuition payment will be refunded in full.

To request a refund, please contact us via email at or phone at (312) 255-3700. The Newberry Library retains a 10% processing fee.
